SLGR Para Athletics day
SLGR are the first of the London clubs to hold a Para Athletics day, as part of their Inspiration Club funding and Team Personal Best went along with two special guests!

Millwall Community Athletics event
Team Personal Best were pleased to be able to be invited to visit the Millwall Community Trust, Community Athletics event at the Southwark Park track this week.
So Lets Go Running
As part of the Team Personal Best project, track and field athletics and running clubs have been able to apply for Inspiration Club funding to encourage and provide more opportunities for disabled people to get involved in the sport. SLGR, who are based in Dartford, were successful in securing a grant for a Kick-start package which includes funding for training volunteers and delivering a Para-Athletics day.
Run Like The Wind
Recently Team Personal Best travelled to the Leyton Jubilee Park in the London Borough of Waltham Forest, to meet with the Dao Lu ‘Run Like the Wind’ group. Dao Lu, a community interest company, secured funding from the Mayor London’s Community Athletics Fund, to deliver athletics to local disabled and disadvantaged people.
